Dr. Gladys West Trimble First Generation Scholarship

Established by Trimble, Inc in honor of Dr. Gladys West the Dr. Gladys West Trimble First Generation Scholarship supports students who are the first in their family to attain a college degree.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Recipients must be the first generation in their family to attain a college degree (as indicated on the FAFSA)
• Recipients must be residents of the state of Florida.
• Recipients must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours per semester.
• Recipients must demonstrate financial need by completing the national Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be eligible for a Pell Grant.
• Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in a degree seeking program in the College of Engineering & Computing.
• Recipients will have the opportunity to participate in a paid internship with Trimble.
